Open Frame Generators

The way I see it is that it is common sense.....

If camping in a campground with electrical power... no generators NEEDED...

IF camping in a DRY campground, follow rules, and respect everyone....

Because of you, I am going to build an second open cage to put my open cage generator in...then I am going to take the muffler off and put an open straight pipe on it, and I am going to find where you camp, and then I am going to fire my Big Open-Sided, Double-Caged, Open Pipe havin' generator up and hope you fall over from shock.

Are you kidding ? There is a huge difference between an open generator and an inverter quiet generator. I cant hear mine 25 feet away but I can hear an open frame generator 50 -100 yards away.

Once again there is no such thing as a quiet generator. There are only noisy and less noisy.

Chances are if you think yours is less noisy, you are still annoying a lot of folks just like the folks with the noisier model.

Also if you camp where you need a generator, chances are there will be one.

I have camped where some areas were generator free. They usually contained tenters. I have also camped where generator use was restricted to certain hours.

I usually camp where there is electricity and generator are not a problem.
