- golf_bearsExplorerI have a 19 and yes you cam manually turn in on. It's explained in the owners manual. Read about it last week but forgot how. Would have to read about it again if I were to try it.

It’s an option for the XL and XLT’s. Not available on higher trim levels. To my knowledge this option Is to initiate a parked regen, and may not force an on the road regen.
From the Ford website:
"Operator Commanded Regeneration is available on Super Duty XL, XLT, and LARIAT. Requires 6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel engine." - Edd505Explorer

What has trim level got to do with it? It's the same engine no matter the trim level or body style. - Sport45Explorer II

To the best of my knowledge, Ford does it's re-gen while going down the road or at dealer. In fact, I'm not sure of any pick up that you (owner) can do a manual re-gen. Semis you can, but don't think so of pick-ups.
It's available as an option on the new trucks.

They change something on the 19's? My 15 can only be dealer done & there is no message on how full the filter is.
On the 15s you can add the screen showing the dpf level and turn on a manual gen using forscan or have your dealer add it. I've added the dpf level screen to my dic on my 17 but I think the only way to get a manual regen option is to find a dealer that knows how to do it. - Edd505ExplorerThey change something on the 19's? - LynnmorExplorerCheck your owners manual, it may be possible to start a regen if the DPF is at 100%.
