Jefe is in the same boat as me. Our campers are 7" narrower than most. I too have been looking at the Solar Blvd panels, but doubt my camper will handle the 26" width of the panel. While more expensive, the AmSolar advantage is the panel is only 40.8 x 20.7 in size, that is 15" shorter and 5" narrower than the Solar Blvd.
Since we are in the process of looking for a slight upgrade so was wanting to use the roof rack for mounting to make it easier to move to the next camper. When I measured, I only had 26.5" between the AC cover and edge of the camper. So with less 1" space between the cover and panel, it would quickly be partially put in the shade any time the camper is pointed westward. The overlap for about 15" along the cover, so significant shading could quickly occur.
Even if wiling to mount on the roof, there is only the possibility of mounting on the front left section of the roof which I believe is actually a smaller footprint than the roof rack where I want to mount.
Several people suggest just running on propane. When the temps are below 70 or I'm running under 50mph on the back roads, I generally do and it works satisfactory. Above 50mph and summer temps, the lp doesn't maintain the temperature and will quickly clog the flue with soot. I realize the soot is a poor burn on the gas. However, it is not the burner or fridge, but an issue with air flow on my particular setup.
