Opinions On 2016 Nissan Titan w/5.0 Cummins Diesel?

It's ALWAYS been marketing, the "3/4 ton", etc. My '84 C20 had a 7200 GVWR(even with 8 lug wheels), my '05 2500HD was 9200, a new F250 is 10000. I beleive the Nissan XD is 8500.

It's all marketing BS. The only things that really matter are payload, axle ratings and GCWR.

Payload is simply GVWR minus curb weight. If GVWR is marketing BS, so is payload.
