opinions on a terry
Hello folks! So, I aquired an old 18' Terry Trailer to fix up, and didnt realize how popular they are restored. I was going to Canadianize it, my style, but my American neighbour suggested keeping close to original. I was going to gut most of the cupboards and diner style bench, put in a wood stove, paint it forest green, flip the springs over the axle...I'm wondering if I'd be wiser to not do this, even if not doing a serious resto ( which I wouldnt do, regardless) as I will plan to sell it eventually. Id like to build something from scratch eventually, so was going to fix this up for now and on to the next project... Just thought I'd get peoples opinions in this trailer! Its been under a roof for over 30 years. I can get paperwork for it, its in pretty good original condition, no leaks or anything wrecked. Dont know yet what works and doesnt. THink its early 70's. I tarred the roof just to be safe. I did pull off ceiling and its clean. Anyway, what do you guys think? Should I just do what I want, or would it devalue this ol trailer unreasonably? I have more pics if anyone is interested. THanks for any insight! Glad to help anyone source old trailers to restore. I know of a few in these parts...
