opinions on jayco jay flight 28bhs

Hi my family is new to rving if anyone has or has experience with a 2013 Jayco Jay flight 28bhs let me know what you think. This will be our first RV and almost put money down on it, but still am a little hesitant. thanks
  • Floorplan wise you'll have to decide what work for you in conjunction with your TV's capability.
Jayco is a decent brand with a good reputation. They offer a 2 year warranty and stand behind their product.
  • we have the new 2013 28BHBE and love it.....a little different floorplan than what your looking at but you should like it.....3rd. Jayco for us.
  • You can't beat their two year warranty. They do stand behind their product.
  • I had the 2012 Jayco 28BHS for 2 years. I loved it. I only traded it in because I got a great deal on a bigger trailer. Mine had the slide for couch area. Easy to pull and move around. I loved it.

  • We have a JAyco 31BHDS with two kids under 8. Love it and it's been a great family experience.
  • We have 3 small kids and 2 adults. We will mostly do every other weekend camping and a few 1 week trips. Full hook up is probably best. the model we are looking at has double over double bunks and a small slide. We also want to take it on a long haul trip in a couple of years.
  • How many in your family? What type of camping will you be doing, full hook up sites or boondocking? How often will you go out and for how long?
We have 4 children so we needed a model with slides as well a bunkhouse. We go to full hook up sites so we wanted the biggest ac available. Sometimes we camp several times a month so we wanted lots of inside storage.
  • I am not sure about the 28BHS. I have had 2 jaycos 2009 and a 2011 TT the quality is hard to beat and service is excellent. I wouldn't buy another brand. Plus they have a 2 year warranty, I don't know of any other brand doing that.
