Well, I'm still in my 2003 TT that I bought brand new in 2002... No leaks ever, and that's because I've maintained it over the years, keep it covered during the winter, etc..
Anyway, I can't see myself buying a new one anytime soon.. (too many $$ compared to what I paid for my rig).
I think you should be able to find something else out there that's not had a leaking issue for not a lot more $$ and you'll be much happier in the end I think..
