My thought is they need no tuning. The 07 classic maybe the best most reliable motor of the era. Coupled to the 6 speed Allison it is the best drivetrain of the era


I may be biased, but I'd agree that the '06-07 LBZ/Allison was the best diesel drivetrain of the '00's. Mine was a fantastic truck.
