I seriously doubt Ford would risk neutering their sales leader. Before everyone threatens to take their toys and go home, We'll have to see how the truck performs. I'm going to make a wild guess that the new 2015 will outperform the outgoing model.
If this is true then their weight loss is a push and the guys predicting higher payload and towing capacity are going to be wrong. I'm going to make a guess that the 2.7 will not outperform the 2013 unless you order it with the 3.5. Unless you go with the lower trim package that is.
