Yes! On 2014 models, a guy could buy a loaded-with-options XLT or Lariat and opt for a 3.73 locking rear end without having to buy the HD Payload option. And he'd need that 3.73 to get to maximum towing capacity. For the 2015 the only way to get 3.73 is within the HD option, but with the HD option you cannot — I repeat — cannot get the luxury options.
