All could have worked for me but mainly it came down to weight of the bigger generators. Same here. I carry them in the truck bed if we're pulling the 5th. They will fit behind my truck front seats on the floorboard if I'm in the Bigfoot. I do have a front receiver and a cargo carrier but can't get my head around what to store them in on the carrier. I've looked at Colemans military surplus for storage boxes and may do that. I just hate to leave them in plain sight.
