If you can reach where the existing wires go then you can. I didn't think I could reach the wires on the gray tank and wasn't really sure I could reach the fresh plus you have to get the new sensors close enough to wire ends to use. If you test fit and wire everything and hold new sensors in place with painters tape to test system then all should be good. Once you peel backing from 3m tape on sensor there is no adjustment. Also, even with painters tape, be real careful removing tape. There is a thin clear film on circuit board that has a tendency to try to lift from surface when temperatures are warm while pulling tape off. I just thought it was easier to run new wire and leave the old in place as a backup. Only downside to this is I had to find new home for display monitor.
