I got them installed at the factory, but...
1) They have to modify the wiring harness to make them work.. they do not like that.
2) The foam that they use to locate the tanks rubs on them, causing problems. Mine the foam rubbing on it separated it from the grey tank.. until I pulled the cover, cut back the foam in that area and re-attached the sensor.
2) They have to find/mod the water pump switch and technically, the way they do it just wrong in my book. Yes, it works, but it really should be a remote latching relay with push on/off switch type deal, like
this. Yes, all the power for the water pump goes all the way up to the fuse panel at head level, and then all the way back down. Really. You can easily get 0.2 or 0.3 volt drop in their wiring system. I always prefer any DC currents over 1amp to be fused, relayed and short cable runs..
