Sadly most dealers try but don't seem to have a grasp on the ordering system I can't say I blame them hard to stay current on all models and options but I'm working with two one local and one in NC. The big hiccup for me is I don't think I can get a manual transfer case in SLT trim...not a deal breaker but the less electronics I have to deal with the better.

When ordering and spec out at a dealer, deal directly with the Sales Manager! When I ordered my F-350 a few years ago, the sales manager was the ONLY guy who had a clue. Walk into the General Managers office and tell him what you need and that you won't deal with anyone who doesn't know how to spec out and place an order. Heck, you're going to spend $40+K. If they don't sit up straight and work with you, WALK!
