Good advice. We had a AF1150 and we ended up running the solar wires down through a cabinet on drivers side, through the kitchen and down to battery box. If AF will upsize the wiring from roof to battery box I would go for that but you need to know where the wires are going to accept mounting a solar charge controller. We ended up with this install. A pretty basic renogy MPPT. To get to the battery compartment required lots of drilling of roof, walls etc...
