So all in all it was one heck of a 8 day 1600 mile drive. Next time I come up this way I will spend most of my time exploring the lakes and trails off the Cascades lakes Highway. Its my kind of Boondocking, Kayaking and Fishing. I would skip Crater lake except for just doing a pass through. Its beautiful but it lacks in my kind of recreational activities. I would go back and explore around the Volcanoes. The coast is too populated for my taste. I really liked the comfort zone that the 19.5 tires and wheels gave me. No paranoia about heat build up load and tire failure. All I had to do was keep the rubber side down and relax.
