Hi we are thirteen months with our small 5.7 camplite all aluminum no wood tc and we love it. We carry it on a toyota toco. Our weight sticker said 900lbs dry. After two trips to the scales with & without camper she came in at 1100lbs. Don't be shocked if yours tips the scales. There is just two of us and the small size is no problem. As yourselves we didn't invest alot money up front. You will find little things to buy that add to the tc experience. Just watch the weight. Our small trucks payload can be maxed out quickly.
