Our Lemon Forest River just squeezed some more juice

If I towed it back and forth to the dealers every time something breaks or doesn't work, or a shelf falls down, I would be living on the street.

I am posting here to alert other people that are looking at Forest River made trailers to be ready for trouble.

In states where lemon laws apply to RVs as well as passenger vehicles, the laws normally only extend to motorhomes. Sometimes the law only applies to the motorized sections of the vehicles. Trailers are normally left out in the cold. I haven't followed the story closely, but, if you haven't done so already, send the trailer back to the dealer to have them resolve all issues. Request that they perform a thorough inspection on the trailer to find other potential problems. You never know where these things will lead so make sure you're following the warranty repair process correctly and documenting everything.

Unfortunately there is no lemon law for TT, not sure about MH.

But I feel your pain!! In 2015 we bought a Jayco that the dealer after 5 attempts couldnt resolve the problem.

Long story short the dealer bought back the camper at full purchase price with the agreement we would buy another camper from them..., we did, a KZ...Thank- you Tennessee RV!!!!!

If it wasn't for the dealer we would have been stuck with a lemon!!

Jayco was of no help what so ever!! Because of the way Jayco handled the situation its a safe bet to say i'll never even consider buying a Jayco product.

Have you talked to FR directly. When we had issues with our Vibe I called and they took care of us the next day at the factory. They even found some issues I did not see.

From everything I have read its kind of pot luck on how well the trailers are made. They get them out as fast as possible.

Forest River has a good reputation for taking care of customers after the sale. Do they still offer the extra year of warranty for only $100?

The FROG group is very active and Forest River has a large participation.

TennesseeRV is one of the top notch dealers in the country. That's where we bought our Open Range one day while just passing thru.

IMO they certainly are!!!
Even though they are 2 1/2 hour from home (have 3 other dealers within 1 hour) TNRV will get my business again.
