Our new Trailer 1975 Scamper

Hello,

Here are some pictures of our new trailer that we have done a little bit of work getting it ready for this season.
I have just took out the old water pump to see if it was the reason why the water does not work on 12v. I tried this pump with direct 12v from the battery with nothing at all.....
Where and what should i be looking at to get a new little pump? It has a really small little tank so im not into spending alot of money on a massive pump.

Anyways here are some pictures of our trailer. Let me know what you think
  • IT WEIGHS LIKE 1500KG!!! how good is that! less than 1000 dollars after renovations
  • Thinking about it, I wouldn't want a dark interior. Seeing your photos, it is a very classy and calming look. I like the interior look a lot !
  • Hey, you need a 1 ton dually to pull that...lol...figured I would beat someone to the punch. It reminds me of the trailer I used to go camping in with my grandparents. Even through high school. Great memories were made with that trailer.
  • Thanks for the advice how are you using the small tanks for gravity feed? Up high in the cabinets? Just a valve and a hose?

I just really dont wana screw around with the water tank we have to take water to the sink to wash up and what not.

Where should i buy one? Are they automatic when the tap turns on?
  • Sweet!

Sounds like the pump is toast...no big deal, they're cheap. You can buy one for less than a hundred bucks if you want to keep using an electric-operated system. I say that because after years of bigger rigs I now have a little trailer, too, and the hand pump supplied with its 14 gallon tank worked just fine until I eventually decided to just go with a gravity-flow system based on two gallon containers. Took out the water tank and am now using the space I got back for extra storage.

    Works for me!
