Apparently Jayco heard my call and is releasing a new floor plan for 2016 that comes dang close to suiting my needs perfectly.
Introducing the Jay Feather 25BH:
Double double bunks - check
Deep slide - check
Walk around queen - check
Outdoor kitchen with sink - check
Around 28 feet long - check (probably)
Downsides would be the shorty kitchen and the somewhat lacking storage space inside. I'm also not sure what all is lost when going from Jay Flight to Jay Feather. There might be fit and finish and/or construction compromises there. I still can't wait to check one out on the lot.
