Outdoor shower

All I could afford wrote:

Every other camper I see they are mounted on the opposite side, as the awning side is typically set up with food preparation areas as well as often a outdoor carpet. Is there anyone else here who has shower on the door side? Or am I truly one of a kind

Where are the kitchen or bathroom areas in your RV? This could have a bearing as they might have decided to put it close to one of these to minimize the plumbing run, although I think that it would be a weak excuse at best since the tuping is only cheap. Mine is on the street-side where it belongs. So happens that both my kitchen and my bathroom are on that side as well. I doubt that your RV, whatever it is, is the only one with a shower under the awning in the porch area, although I would bet that there are not many others.
