Outdoor shower

I am just curious being I'm a big fan of using my outdoor shower (in my bathing suit) while camping, why on earth mine was installed on the door side of the camper right under the awning area. Every other camper I see they are mounted on the opposite side, as the awning side is typically set up with food preparation areas as well as often a outdoor carpet. Is there anyone else here who has shower on the door side? Or am I truly one of a kind
