silversand is a smart professional guy and longtime camping etc travel advocate who doesn't repair etc anything half-baked to the best of the knowledge/info he has to work with at the time. Life IS an ongoing learning experience and then unfortunately, you die and there goes the learned info. I think it's extremely important to share and pass on learned things/info that work and not only pertaining to RV's and RV'ing.
Of course, there's always the gobs of a the still wet behind the ears in age/life and the few weekends a year warriors and those who have maybe 5 years of RV experience etc who think they know-it-all and therefore it's so difficult to educate them with facts or see the light.
In the real world, what is the sense of doing the same thing over and over and expecting better results anyway?
