Last winter we had record snows and I removed 4 to 6 inches of snow several times.
It did not stop the roof from developing an ice coating under the snow but it did eliminate a two foot or more snow load. I do not know if a cover would have been better but I have one now so I am going to try it. If nothing else it will keep the pine needles off as I store it in a pine grove.
I do not think the dealers remove snow from the TTs on their lots, but it is like chicken soup, it cannot hurt.
