Our '95 is parked under trees all the time. I did not cover it last winter because, a) we hadn't bought a cover yet, and b) because I took my DS out for a few one-nighters during the winter months. I just kept the water system winterized.
If I had a newer one, I might go to the expense and aggravation of covering it.
