My only other option is to wait for my 9 y/o DS to get big enough to weld. He'd be happy to help his Mom with projects LOL.
Or have my mom do it. She took a BOCES welding class at age 71 just to learn something new LOL. But I'd like it to look a tad but better than her skill level. I bet her welds would be pretty snotty looking after 10 years with no practice. I tried welding once... lite the torch and promptly dropped it from nerves. I just don't like heat/fire/ molten metal. My dad was a mechanic, and great welder, but that mechanical gene just passed me right over.
