I don't need a hitch carrier. It would be hidden by the tailgate, which we need to run with on. I just need 12" more "floor" across the top of the tailgate so that I'm not balancing on 6" of the tailgate that's left once we load the TC.
Also, I like the idea of having the mesh so that sand, snow, and dirt falls off the shoes before we enter the TC.
