For overlanding, once you get out of N. America, you have an oddball vehicle if you need work done on it.
Also, it's up around $150k starting price for a stripped down version and you only get a 9ft box. Basically it's a truck camper with slightly wider floor space.
I agree there is no perfect RV. For cruising around N. America, overlander vehicles don't make a lot of sense.
