Yep, Taylor Ranch is a big (for the East) old farm, now a commercial for-profit event center. Folks rent their facilities for big weddings, corporate events like picnics, etc. It's a flat-out lovely spot in a scenic valley, and easily accessed from I-26 or I-40. I used to drive past the main gate daily on the way to work back in the 80's, and owned land on the ridge above there in the 90's.
Nope, it ain't gonna come cheap. I have the impression that the admission price includes up to four nights of dry camping, Thursday thru Sunday, but someone who knows can correct that if needed. I expect that the Sunday Bar-BQ banquet will be first-rate.
This being Asheville, I hope they've thought of having some of the city's food trucks available out there for other meals. Some of them are quite good, others so-so.
I'm not a TC'er, but I plan to be there.
