Truck camper owners arranged to have a special space for the TCs presided over by Brian BKA. We had a great time visiting with all the TC folk, and spending some intense time with the events....millions of events....almost too many. There were a number of TCs that paid for the day pass and a small fee for dry camping, and they were happy as clams.
I suggest that you get in touch with Roseann Hanson, the organizer of OX, and see if you can get a special TC area. I think she would be very interested. You could also PM Brian BKA here on RV.net
Make no mistake, this thing is HUGE in Flagstaff...the premiere event in North America. Asheville may come close.
I remember reading your well written article and thank you for that, also for the info on the organizer. Maybe if we keep this thread going there will be enough interest for a gathering.
One interesting obstacle is the 12' height limitation due to the tree canopy. Most TC's will be ok but what about those Unimogs and such?
