P tires vs LT tires - tire sales conflicting info

P tires come with a warranty, LT tires have no warranty (at least mine don't). Changing size is not an issue, you can get a tuner to adjust the speedometer, and truck guys love to run big tires. I'd stay with what you have in size and type, personally. Going to a taller tire can have an impact on towing capacity since in lowers the over-all gear ratio.
