P tires vs LT tires - tire sales conflicting info

OP if you want to get into a LT tire your going to end up with a LT275/65R18. I would go with a the stock size non P with a 50PSI rating. I say Non P because that is how it is listed 265/60R18 not P265/60R18 LINK Link.


The only load rating for your size tire is "standerd load" no extra load or D tires. Look for tires that do not have the P prefix, they have the higher PSI rating.
