I had the same issues with yellowing. Found that Mean Green will take the yellow off after several spray and wipes, but it will turn yellow again.
I purchased a new vent cover and painted it with Krylon before putting it on our 5W. It's still white after 4 years. I'm about to do the same to the TC.
