Has anyone got any pointers on painting that plastic vent cover.
The on on my 2005 Bigfoot has turn yellow and can not seem to find a replacement vent.

Also i think i will up date the Vinyl trim inserts after that.

  • Take a piece of the side of a cardboard box and cut a hole in the middle to match the size of your vent and place over the vent and spray. The big piece of cardboard will prevent any over spray onto your RV. Better than just taping it.

    2 Words......

    Krylon Fusion, for plastics :B

Spray paint found at any hardware store or Wally World.

This paint is the bomb. Dries instantly and lasts forever and makes yellow plastic look like brand new.

I bought a sad looking used TT because everything plastic was yellow and I then sprayed each and every bit of it with white Krylon Fusion and the TT looked like brand new. I then sold it for twice what I payed for it the next day!! :W
  • Just use spray paint for plastics, and mask the TC.

    Works great.
