55 inch one piece door. The only problem I have had is a few too many adult beverages and forgetting to duck far enough. There is a padded area inside but not the outside. I took the time and did the research on what was best for me. Folks will always have an opinion good or bad on what they like or don't like for whatever reason. Find what you like and go with it. No particular one is better than the other.

Haven't checked it out yet
Looking for one the wife doesn't have to bend over so far to use as the half door in our Shadow Cruiser

Why do you feel like that ?
The one I'm looking at is several years (more than 10 ) old so I'd hope lots of things have been worked out but I'm not shy about working on one

Personally, Palomino would be my last choice in the pop up camper market.

only in the past couple of years has Palomino changed to a "one" piece door.
we looked at one couple of years ago and the dealer could not get the door open.
