I appreciate everyone's responses. Spike99, that is a nice parking pad. My plan at this point is to leave the tires as they are in the pictures. I hadn't thought of the leaves, but that is a good idea. We had a popup for 4 winter seasons and we never once had a mice problem. But just because I said that, I'll get a whole family this time! I'll rake up the leaves.
I've been leaving the stabilizers down because we are in and out on a daily basis (DS considers it his playhouse). But for winter storage, I'll raise them up and only have 5 points of contact with the ground. I'll have to give some thought to the mice prevention. I'm sure there are lots of ideas here on this forum.
But first, I've got one more trip planned. This coming weekend, the weather forecast is for a high of 60 Friday and Saturday, with a low of 44 Friday night. I am taking DS for a one-nighter, just he and I, on Friday night to our local state park. After that comes the winterization. I purchased 3 gallons of RV antifreeze this week, so I'm ready for that.
