Pass Through Storage

The pass through storage on our new Jayco 21'TT not only passes from one side to the other , but also goes through to the under bed storage . There are no water pipes or venting and no holes coming from the bottom side of the TT in this area. When I have a side storage door open , before the bed was made up , the DW noticed daylight coming through at the head of the bed . She did not like this considering flying insects entering through the pass through doors and into TT living area . Have any you got good advice on either how to block the area under the bed off from the pass through or do you find this way advantageous in any way? I know the simple fix is to keep the doors shut so lets not go there . Just looking for pros and cons of the open to under bed or closed to under bed . Thanks , Life is Good

  • I had access to my pass through from under the bed on my last trailer. I used it from time to time and found it to be handy. I don't have it on my newer trailer. I don't miss it but I wouldn't get rid of it if I had it again. Get a flexible seal like a door sweep or a "V" seal and put it in the joint between the bed top and the pass through.
