Same here. I'd like to know if there's any data supporting the idea that plugs are inadequate and lead to future failures.
On edit: What I find is various tire company experts asserting that plug only repairs are inadequate, and attorneys trying to drum up business. However, no numbers regarding actual failure rates, which is not surprising... How do you decide if a plug repair made months or years earlier caused a blowout, when there's nothing left of the tire?
