PEI ,Newfoundland, and Nova scotia

Hi travelling for the next 3 months in this area just wondering if the is any must stay at campgrounds or spots not to miss thanks
  • We were there 2 years ago. Had a great time.

We did stay at 3 different "Harvest Host" sites which kept us out of noisy campgrounds on those nights. One night was spent in a hillside orchid overlooking the water.

  • There was a fella who used to hang out in the Class C forum I believe. He goes by Little Kopit.

IIRC, he was a travel writer focused on Atlantic Canada and the Maritime provinces. A little searching over there will produce a ton of his posts and shared insights.
  • If you go trough New Brunswick their is a road going to a place named cape enrage
Their is a bay on your way close to the cape adventure.
We have camp on the gravel dune 2 nights just to see the tides going in and out
It is over 27ft it is unbelievable you have to see going in and out and walk on the beach at low tide to see where the water was at the high tide.
We boondock there and no one disturbed us, you may see some fisher at nite high tide
    Enjoy

  • Gaetan,
I see you're from Jonquiere. My daughter just spent several weeks there in the explorer program. She had such a good time she wants to do it again next year. Are there any good places near you to camp? We're thinking of taking the camper up there to drop her off if she does it again.
