Bigger hat.....hmmmmm...... sounds like the story of the 747 hump in the body. When scaling up the plans, one set of drafters for the frames went to the plus .002, the other to the minus .002......in inch or so off in the middle. Hence the hump! I can imagine if they went with a large rimmed hat! LOL
I've enjoyed what I did for a living. Then as my step dad said one time, I would have hated being an engineer at Boink! or Lazy B as some call it! I had to be an engineer, artist, thinker......creating spaces for people to enjoy life in there yards. For that matter, repair the earth at times too!
