I know, I was telling you what an ISB runs as your numbers to still be fake numbers. ISB's run different oil pressure than that.
The trucks without real oil pressure gauges still have the gauge move, just based on an algorithm and not actual pressure.
:h actually seems like BS to me, but I'll bite anyway. How do you actually know what the numbers should be in a new 6.7L Cummins??????
Mind you, I seem to recall the oil pressure in my 2003 Duramax would go low down to about the 15 PSI point at idle.
Don't recall at all what the pressure was in my 2006 5.9 Cummins.
I've also had the oil changed on my new truck. From the factory, I have no idea what was actually in it, because so many different service managers told me different brands and oil weights. One said 15W/40, another 5W/40 and so on.
So now it has the 15W/40 Rotella. Which is NOT going for 15,000 miles. I may eventually do the 15,000 mile change, but not before I change over to 5W/40 full synthetic somewhere down the road and more miles on the engine.
