I'd love to have a Superhitch and a nice truss, but until then I have resigned myself to flat towing my YJ 4 wheels down. I used to trailer it on a 20' Kaufmann trailer, but it was heavy. After buying the TC I realized trailing wasn't going to work without an investment in a beefier receiver and an extension, so I sold the trailer and began flat towing. So far it's been great. I realize after wheeling and climbing rocks that if I break I will have to repair before hooking up the tow bar, but I'm ok with that.
I decided that even if I do want to trailer again, I wanted a shorter and lighter car hauler.
OP, what are you planning on towing?
