Cigar connector is a bit weak. Clamps direct on the battery only is much better. (see picture)
But do these inflators really have the volume to blow the water out? I would think you need an air tank to go with it. Otherwise I just see bubbles floating up the pipe and leaving a lot of water in the low spots.
I have used our Harbour Freight compressor to blow out the lines when coming back to the mountains from Florida. It has the battery clamps and I used an adjustable regulator on the water inlet. Biggest problem was mating the blowout fitting to the compressor hose, but, with a little MacGyvering, it did the job.
