However, it may take a few weeks for the check to "really" clear. Today anyone with a good printer can print a "cashier's" check. A few weeks later when the bank says the check is a forgery the RV is in some unknown place and Mr Frost.
You could call the bank (but not at the number printed on the check which could be a fake number) and see if the check is for real.
