Please help! Is this buyer of my trailer trying to scam me?

Haven't read all the post here but, typically when a buyer purchases long distances the buyer makes all the arrangements for shipping including paying the shipper. Never does the seller pay the shipping fee. An associate of mine just sold his Rolls Royce golf cart to a buyer across the country and that buyer set up and paid for the cart to be picked up and shipped from my associate's house. This has SCAM written all over it.
