The idea makes good sense, but likely isn't going to happen, unfortunately. We seem to always have some sort of hitch back there, either the WDH or the smaller one for DH's enclosed trailer or the mulch trailer. You would think that one time of banging your leg would make the point, but DH has done it several times. I've never had the experience, but am sorta hyper-aware after listening to him after a little collision and just make note of the rear bumper areas where I'm walking. Sorry about the leg, bet it left a nasty bruise.
