Plumbing Question in Bathroom

New trailer, left on trip yesterday. Hooked up in park last night, good water pressure. Water flow good in all sinks, toilet and shower. Late last night the water flow in bathroom sink went down to a trickle, out of hot and cold side. Flow in kitchen, shower, toilet stayed normal. Still same this morning. Any thoughts as to where to start troubleshooting the problem. Thanks.

X2, very common problem. The strainer screen is often filled with tiny rocks.
  • Tiny rocks and such are pretty uncommon in the aerator of a brand new rig, however, construction debris isn't. Bits of everything that your trailer is made of could be there. This is also very common in residential construction as well.

After a couple of years, you will start finding scale and parts of mineral deposits from pipe wall and the tank in there. If you find gravel fines in your lines, it is time for a filter between the hose and the tank.
  • Always run a few seconds of water through your hose before connecting it to your camper. Flushes campground lines and your hose.

Always store your hose with the ends connected. Insects like to build nests inside- mud daubers, ants, etc.

Are you using a water filter at the entrance point? Our first popup we bought a fine filter and it clogged in no time at a campground.

Are you using a water pressure regulator?
  • Thanks everyone. Did find the plastic faucet had strainer, took off cleaned. It had one tiny stone, after removing it worked fine.
