Ditto... I avoid trying to 'get away from it all' on any holiday weekend. Anywhere we'd want to go would be packed and difficult to get a big spot or hold space for. That, and I already have plans with friends for Labor Day.
You know, if you didn't want to do toys, you could always look at Silver Creek Falls State Park after the labor day weekend, they have a nice large group camp area.
