I installed a Bosch unit in my house when I built it in 2005. Propane unit and was supposed to provide unlimited hot water at 3.5 gpm.
Problem was the unit was sized due to a large garden tub and filling it, but my shower which has a 1.5 gpm showerhead will not pass enough water to turn the thing on. So we had to run the bathroom sink with hot water inorder to get enough flow to turn the unit on. These units use a pressure sensing switch to know when to turn on, and when the flow decreases even slightly they will switch off. With single handle controls it was impossible to get a warm shower, flows varied too much and 20 degree temp swings were constant. I have gotten rid of the thing. RV units being smaller and usually having a dual handle control for the shower may work better, but look at your btu and propane consumption ratings and remember that you have very limited amounts of propane aboard.
