Police and bicycle front hitch

Anyone ever have any problems with police stopping you about bikes obstructing headlights? Today we installed bodiak front hitch, added bike carrier and there might be a little obstruction concerning headlights. When it gets dark we will know more about it. We very seldom drive at night when we carry bikes. If we travel north we take motorcycle and leave bicycles at home, too many hills up north, lol!

    I sometimes carry 2 bikes up front but mine dont interfere at all with the headlights. My hitch is low and the headlights are high so I guess I can be glad I went with the receiver that I did.

    We've traveled all over the Midwest down to Florida with two adult bikes on the front of our tow vehicle with no problems from the law. However, we do not drive at night due to the glare off the bikes from the headlights.

    When I connect my Bodiak front hitch to the tow hooks on my F-250 it obstructs the front license plate and I have never been stopped by the police.

    To be 100% certain you will probably have to check each states motor vehicle code regarding headlights.
